Our Charges

 Our scale of fees is as follows:


  • $100 per session. Sessions are up to 2 hours long. Follow up sessions are up to 1.5 hours in duration. Prepayment is requested in order to confirm your booking.

  • If you hold a Healthcare card or find yourself needing assistance and cannot afford our fees, please talk to us and we will work something out.

  • Our desire is to assist, in whatever way we can. Don't let financial stress prevent you from seeking support.

  • We understand that life can get in the way, and getting help may be the thing you need to regain some clarity and control. Talk to us.



Payment can be made using Paypal, cash, credit card or EFTPOS


If you are seeking a consult under a 'Better Mental Health Plan' organised by your doctor we cannot assist you; you will need to book with a clinical psychologist. 


Our Terms of Service


We offer out of hours appointments that fall on weekends, public holidays by negotiation, and evenings, as well as during normal business hours.


We believe that mutual respect and consideration is an integral part of the dynamic between practitioner and patient, and while there are times when appointments are forgotten or overlooked, or emergencies happen that impact a patient's ability to meet their appointment commitment, we work on the understanding that appointments are a mutual agreement of time between us.


To honour that agreement, we are introducing a policy of prepayment of all consultations/appointments unless changed by prior negotiation.





How our practice operates:


Loving Therapy employs a variety of modalities, depending on your practitioner. Each is qualified in the modality they use.


We use:


  1. Resource Therapy

  2. Hypnosis

  3. Counselling

  4. NLP


Our primary modality is Resource Therapy; this is a parts therapy.


When needed, we also incorporate hypnosis, counselling, and/or NLP.


As a parts therapy, Resource Therapy may bring up issues you were not aware of.


Most non-RT therapists attempt to work with the complaining personality part. RT therapists work directly with the personality part that behaves or feels in a way that is upsetting to the client, to ensure that the cause is directly addressed. This may mean that we work on issues that may seem to be unrelated to the presenting issue. This may be unexpected, but it will relate to your presenting issue. We do not direct or control where the session goes, we simply facilitate a process.

Resource Therapists accept that the personality is composed of parts. Clients come to therapists because they are unhappy with their behaviour or their feelings.


You may experience memories and events you feel have been dealt with, and you may find yourself experiencing a therapeutic intervention process that surprises you; this is normal.


You may experience yourself saying things within a session that take you by surprise; this is normal.


You may have experiences within a session that challenge you; this is normal.


Sometimes it can feel as if the session doesn’t work on the issue you came into the room with; this is normal.


As your therapist/s, our role is to keep you safe within the session and to assist you to process whatever comes up.


As your therapist/s, we facilitate a process within which change can occur, using the protocols and actions within Resource Therapy, and other modalities within our scope of expertise.


You should bear in mind the following:


  • Results vary; this practice does not guarantee results.

  • This practice does not guarantee single session success, nor does it guarantee that only one session is needed for any issue, although often this is the experience of our clients.

  • The success of any session depends greatly on the client’s willingness and desire to affect change in themselves, regardless of what may arise within a session.

  • Your therapist may disclose personal information to you. We use this to assist you in feeling supported and understood.

  • Sometimes clients will discover, after having therapy, that they don’t want to change the presenting issue; this is normal.

  • The practitioner will do everything in their power to ensure your success; success may include changes in behaviours or feelings, and may be different to what was expected.

  • Your practitioner will ‘not make you change’.

  • Expectations may not match the actual outcome of any therapeutic session.

  • You have other choices from which to seek assistance regarding your specific concerns, and you have chosen Loving Therapy to assist you.

  • Therapy is not a replacement for medical treatment or psychiatric services.

  • The practitioner does not treat, prescribe for, or diagnose any condition.

  • In some cases, it may be necessary for the practitioner to respectfully touch parts of your body such as your shoulder(s), arms, legs, forehead, etc. 

  • Resource Therapy / Hypnosis invokes a trance state. This is a heightened state of awareness. You will be alert and aware of everything going on around you. You will not be ‘asleep’ or unaware; this is normal.

  • Your therapist will inform you immediately if, in their judgment, you would be better served by another professional or an alternative/complementary means of reaching your goals.

  • You are free to terminate any or all sessions at any time.

  • You agree to participate in each session to the best of your ability.


You have the right to view your file at any time.


You have the right to complain about any service provided by this practice



Any issue or complaint should be addressed to the practitioner first.


If your complaint is not resolved, you are able to take your complaint to the Health Complaints Commissioner
